About
Hey there! I'm Renard, the developer behind ChronoBeats.
This passion project was born from two of my favorite pastimes: music and games. One night, my friends and I were singing along to old classics and reminiscing about the songs that defined our high school years. It was all laughter and nostalgia until someone swore that one of those tracks actually came out when we were already in college. Before long, we weren't just listening to music, we were testing our memories against time and piecing together our lives through songs. That moment stuck with me. I realized that every song is a marker of where we were, who we were with, and what we felt when we first heard it. As a software engineer (and lifelong music nerd), I wanted to capture that energy - that mix of nostalgia, competition, and surprise - and turn it into a game anyone could play anywhere. No cards, no app downloads, no complicated setup. Just music, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition.
I wanted ChronoBeats to feel as easy as hitting play on your favorite playlist, but as fun as a party game you’d actually bring out on a Friday night. I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as I’ve enjoyed playing it with my friends, and that it sparks the same laughter, memories, and friendly competition we had that very first night.
